Crimson Midwest Tour, Day 12

We meet up with Nick from Rise at the park the night before and he got us some rooms for the night. The Demo was supposed to start @ 11 with a cookout afterwards, so for the most part the crew took it easy for the night. Kris Markovich, Amy and Charlie dog stayed at a friend's house and we all would meet up at the shop in the morning. After grabbing some coffee and waking up the boys we all headed down to the shop.

Everyone hung out for a little while at the shop then skated down to the park. There were around 300 kids skating and hanging around the park, which made a demo nearly impossible. After an hour or so of dodging kids and having fun, the party moved over to the cookout behind the shop.

They were hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers for the vegetarians on the team. The guys at Rise really know how to make you feel at home which made it really hard for us to pack up and head out for the signing that we had later that afternoon. Jeremiah Babb drove up from Atlanta and is going to be with us for the rest of the tour. Welcome aboard Jeremiah!

With our caravan in tow we headed to Lafayette, IN. for the next signing. Some of the guys knew the area, so the two hour drive wouldn?t be so bad. The name of the shop we were headed to was Amused, there was a skate shop upstairs and Vintage clothing downstairs. Larry from Amused was super cool and after the signing he treated us to some pizza and beer before we got back on the road.
