Go Skateboarding Day '07: Element Demo In Costa Mesa, CA!

Costa Mesa, CA - The sun was blazing, the asphalt was hot and people were hitting up the Sambazon tent after every few pushes for a new bottle of acai. Active provided the homebase and Element brought the atmosphere. Kids of all ages came out and had a turn or two on the various funboxes that were set up. Cameos of Brent Atchley, Chad Tim Tim, Mike Barker, Nyjah Huston, Jimmy Lannon, Levi Brown, Tony Tave, and Collin Provost could be spotted at various points in the day.

As the sun started to go down and the afternoon breeze kicked on, the launch ramp became the center point of the madness. Kids were hucking themselves trying various tricks for their first times, but when veteran pro Chad Muska stepped in, it was all over. Huge ass Melons, a textbook Sal flip and his signature Frontside Flip went down to everyone's enjoyment.

Though a lot people wished they had put on more sunscreen, its safe to say that everyone had good time.
