Mar 04, 2007 Hurley In Hawaii, Day 5 Hurley in Hawaii, Day 5
"On our 5th day of our trip the crew was off to the Big Island of Hawaii. Nobody in our crew had ever been to the big island so we really didn't know what to expect but once we got settled into our hotel and hit up a couple spots we were amazed with how many killer spots were compacted into a small area. The town of Kona was like a little pot of gold with nugget spots around every corner. Our host on the big island was Chris Senn, who showed us around and gave some spots that he has had his eye on for a while so we were grateful for Chris being such a great guy and showing us lot's of Aloha during our stay on the big island. One day we followed Chris out to the far side of the island to the Volcano skate park which was super fun and we even celebrated his oldest son's birthday with a big BBQ and cake celebration at their home. Our stay on the big island was off to a great start work wise and we started clocking footage and photos right off the bat, Robert 50-50'd this steep-ass 15 stair rail which was gnarly. Diego had a nice gap line and Andre closed down the day with a clean SS BS 180 over a high rail as the sun set on another day in paradise. Check back tomorrow for another update of day 6 of our Hurley Hawaii tour."
