Hurley In Hawaii Pool Rules Art Show Photos!

"As part of the surf industry's annual winter migration of marketing energy focus on the North Shore of Oahu, Hurley brought over its Pool Rules art and photo show to Honolulu Thursday, December 6th, to celebrate over two decades of backyard pool skating with art and photos from some of the most influential skaters of all time. The show took place at Next Door, one of the hottest night spots in town where the who's who of Hawaiian skateboarding came together for a night of celebration, optical stimulation, and intoxication.

"The evening went off with DJ GG Owen rocking the crowd with tons of real hardcore music while everyone reveled in the atmosphere. On had for the occasion were locals like Bo Ikeda, Chris Awong, Nick Yamasato, Dyson Ramones, Chris Kays, and Rene Mathessen while legends like Jef Hartsel and Shogo Kubo who were brought into the show to display their wares caught up with mainlanders Salba, Pat Ngoho, Lester Kasai, Duane Peters, Christian Hosoi, Jimmy The Greek Marcus, Andre Genovesi, David Loy, Curren Caples, Omar Hassan, and Tyler Mumma who made his own personal last minute installation to the show. Special thanks go out to Salba, Ngoho, Lester, Duane, and Mumma for setting this show up in one crazy day and breaking it down the next, nobody likes working hung over but we pulled it off in style.
