Red Bull In Dubai, Day 6
Red Bull in Dubai, Day 6.
Stirring Up The Soup
Anybody that's ever gone on tour knows there's always some kind of
catch phrase that just sticks. Then when you come home and say it, no
one knows what the hell you're talking about. Well there's 2 catch
phrase's on this trip that Hoops has come up with:
1. Hot Soup or Haute Soup all depending on the way you use it.
2. The Manther: Part man. Part panther. (Don't ask)
Just realize that Soup is being served everyday in Dubai.
The Dude

In order to get to the old market of Dubai we had to take these boats
called Abra's across Dubai Creek.
Some how
David Loy convinced this guy into letting him drive his Abra across
the Dubai Creek, and within 5 minutes he nearly sank his battleship.

The rad thing about Dubai is the locals have no idea what
skateboarding is. Which means you never get kicked out. As a matter
a fact 9 times out of 10 they're willing to do what ever it takes to
help you. Figgy and
David Loy hanging with the locals between shots.
So after 2 accidents we finally found our first driver, Kaleal. This
guy knows everyone in Dubai, and if we need anything he'll do what
ever it takes to seal the deal. Thanks Kaleal; you're the man.
Quick dirt nap.
Mapstone wears these things so much he has a permanent flip flop
farmer's tan on his feet.
This is a perfect example of one of those spots that if it were in the
States you would get the boot in second. Here in Dubai, Sheckler and
Figgy skated this spot for hours with security watching.

The raddest thing about digital camera's is the instant gratification.
Sheckler and Figgy put the hammers down.
Sheckler's world wide status.
These kids just don't stop.
After at least 8 hours of skating they still find the energy to sign
autographs at the Mall of Emirates.
This went on for almost 2 hours.
Then we went to...
The Mall of Emirates has a indoor mountain covered in fresh Pow Pow
365 days a year, with working lifts. After a couple of hours of
shreddin' the snow, you can walk 15 feet and buy a DKNY new suit
with some white loafers.
