Kicking off the New Year with a bang! Santa Cruz Skateboards is proud to announce Alex Carolino is turning Pro in January 2006.  

Well deserved and well earned, Alex's "Gusto" Pro Model will debut at the January ASR Tradeshow in San Diego. Both Alex and team mate Flo Marfaing will be at the ASR show in the Santa Cruz booth (#2113) off & on to sign a autographs.  

Look for Alex and Flo this summer when they head out on tour to Europe in May/June and then in the US in July/August. Stay tuned for more info on these Santa Cruz tours as dates & locations are confirmed.

SANTA CRUZ SKATEBOARDS' NEW AM - MARIUS SYVANEN!  

Santa Cruz Skateboards is proud to announce that Marius Syvanen is officially on the Am Team. Marius joins fellow Santa Cruz Am team mates Sid Melvin and Tommy Fynn.  

"I feel like being on the Santa Cruz am team is a good start for a good run, super hyped on the ams and the pros. Haha yeah."  

Born in Finland, Marius currently lives in San Diego and at age 16 has already lined up some major league sponsors like Fury Trucks, Ricta (flow), Osiris Shoes, DaKine, Hawk Clothing and Sun Diego Skate Shop.  

Marius has a part in the upcoming 411VM 14-1 due out in February and is also filming for his part in the Sun Diego Team Video "Love the Ride" due out sometime in Spring 2006.  

With an Am Team this hot, another full length video from Santa Cruz could be out soon... stay tuned.
