This is Anthony Claravall...
From the pizza-laden streets of New York City comes Anthony Claravall,
skateboard videography's answer to the loveable, bald-headed grin of George
Foreman, and with just as much love of grilled snacks. The longest-running
video gun at 411, Ant has been hunched over the bottom of stairs and
rolling in uncomfortable lurched-out positions since hardflips to fakie on
flat banks were cutting-edge, and he's used his Death Lens expertise and
many connections with big-wigs to make his way around the globe in a
thinly-veiled scheme to come up on rare Nikes and hot foreign women.
If you ever have the pleasure of travelling with Anthony, be ready for anything
from heated games of Scrabble over room-service cheeseburgers to guided
tours of the sickest spots, both skate-wise and life-wise,'cause Ant's been
everywhere and knows everybody- just be prepared to wait a looooong time
for the bathroom to be free, 'cause shaving that massive dome of his every
day takes some serious time. In all seriousness, Anthony not only has more
stamps in his passport than anyone in skateboarding but he is also an
amazing filmer and a high-quality dude in all respects. In parting, let it be
known that Anthony had no driver's license and could not drive but for
several years owned a car which he'd make other people drive
him around in. Big ups, Ant. -- Mark Whiteley
