Mar 1, 2004: !!!!!Another Tragic Loss!!!!!

One of the most progressive riders that 411VM has seen in a long time died friday Feburary 27 2004. JOSH MALAY suffered a massive head injury while on a photo shoot with Transworld Snowboard Magazine. We'll keep you posted on the happenings of the situation. Peace!

Jan 2, 2004: Happy New Year!!!!!

Hey everyone, hope your holliday has been rewarding and you got what you asked for from santa. The new year is already shaping up to look like an amazing year. From all the snow in utah and the northwest to some interesting midwest camps and small jib contests, it is going to be a great year. Stay tuned for more up dates.

Dec 9, 2003: vans triple crown this weekend

starting friday, the vans triple crown will be in breckenridge. i'll be bringing you the results and photos of all the bro's through out the event. so dont go any where, and enter to vote for your favorite rider.

Nov 24, 2003: Most Resorts Open

A majority of US and European Resorts are open. Cold tempatures have resorts in a frenzy getting more and more terrain open for the Thanksgiving rush. Europe got good early snow and riders have been riding pow for weeks. So now there is no excuse to not go riding you lazy bastards! Keep up with 411VM for more info on where the hottest (or coldest) place's to ride.

Nov 20, 2003: 32 Boot Party

ThirtyTwo Snowboard Footwear held the "ThirtyTwo Molding Party" yesterday at their new showroom in Southern Ca. Thanks to Marketing Rep, Brian Cook, I got the chance to hang out and custom mold the liners in a new set of TM-2 boots. They have the liner molding program dialed over there, including their own heat tubes and fit kits they give to shops so that everyone can get a custom fit on their boots. The TM-2's fit great and the free ice cream they had for everyone was a nice treat too. Check them out at www.thirtytwo.com and see the team shred Australia in 411VM Snowboarding issue 7.

Nov 19, 2003: Vail to open this Weekend

It looks like another colorado resort is opening this weekend. Vail is rumored to open the top majority of the mountain. With the last bit of snow, it should be really good.

Nov 17, 2003: More resorts open

In Colorado, Breckenridge and Keystone Resorts opened with a couple runs each. Both had morning goodies for the first hour. In Tahoe, Kirkwood Resort opened on saturday with about 5 lifts and a quite a bit more runs. Keep checking in for more resorts opening in the comming weeks.

Nov 16, 2003: Southern Colorado gets more snow!!!!

Wolf Creek has been in there fall weather patternwith another 45 inches between Monday Nov.10th. and Friday Nov. 14th. That is close to 90 inches in 2 weeks. Aprox. 7 1/2 feet! I went down there this past Friday and rode with Frank Wells, Alex Pashley, Scott Lepper. We ended up riding Wolf Creek pass and took 2 Ski-Doo Rev's and enjoyed all that snow. There would be photos, but it was way to much fun to pull the camera out.

Nov 11, 2003: Wolf Creek's opening day

Wolf Creek opened over the weekend with about 4 feet of new snow. We took our snowmobiles with us to ride some back country over the weekend.
